No green light chime is a disappointment but those speed limit and cruise set improvements have been LONG awaited.

So if you were to tap the 30 on your screen, would it set the limit to 30?So far it has worked quite well. Speed limits it recognises are shown depicted in the real-time view of the road now
it has made a couple of mistakes, in roadworks a partially occluded 10mph was read as 70, and an upside down 10 was read as 30
Ah even better, I thought we needed to manually intervene to get around the Mobileeye patent. As you pass the sign, it changes the limit (top-right where it shows 40 in the pic) to 30, yeah, just like it did previously for map-based limits
I’m happy to be wrong!I have just received 2020.36.1 and it’s installing - UK

So you need FSD for it to change speed limit automatically? But not the TACC speed? Just like the original? Which is understandable at this stage of the FSD game.
Anyone who has got 2020.32.x and not got FSD wish to comment on what functionality they get? I hope its available on both although I would think that when we get chime on green, its only for FSD.
I'm actually looking forward to the cruise set speed improvements too.
Now I know what I will be up to later today. On the look out for some gantry signs.
No, you just need it to do consistently what it sometimes does already - change TACC target speed to indicated speed limit. It does it for me already on perhaps 5% of the times it couldSo you need FSD for it to change speed limit automatically?
This new update doesn’t seem to read limit signs if they’re very close to the entrance of a corner after you enter it. Nor does it pickup limits painted on the road or signs which are one lane away to the side
I'm guessing that'll be very hard to sort. My e class also does this.I noticed it detecting signs meaning “30 zone in 300 yards” as meaning “speed limit is 30 now”, but otherwise seems to work well
Must be extra-chill mode...So it now thinks part of our local roads are 5mph since this update.
