Went in to Tesla Leeds for my test drive (I know, test driving it after I've ordered it).
I've ordered black, but the white looks. superb, and they have the grey one in the showroom, and that looks amazing too.
I took a M3P in red out for the test drive, and to say it's the most expensive colour, it was my least favourite.

I’ve got the blue with white, was a “family” decision for the white. As my kids said if you are going to get a Tesla then why would you go with “boring black!”.
I did see it before ordering and thought it was nice but it was the only thing I was unsure / nervous about as the collection day loomed.
But it is so very Tesla, my kids were absolutely right in my opinion. If you are going to go the whole hog on a M3P then go white it really makes the car even more futuristic!

There is one matching my spec except with FSD. Have they been known to do this before? Seems obvious on reflection but are they that desperate to clear the inventory?
And what is the deal with inventory? Do they actually have the vehicles in stock? Or are they on a boat on their way?

Inventory is usually still on a boat apart from this Model 3 with 3600 miles which I assume is ex-demo? (First time I think I’ve seen one)

Yes, they will want all cars sold for the accounts that they publish for Wall Street at end of quarter - end of March.
Worth an ask I reckon ... might be they put FSD on inventory to mop up any deeper-pockets punters first ...

Is there a set time / frequency to updating the inventory or is it random? I'm guessing there'll be a few more on the boat that end up cancelled.

Leasing company still not passed the details but I have been given an update by Tesla today.
no driver listed on the RN so leasing company are on with forwarding my details to Tesla to add to the RN. Was initially told GLOVIS CAPTAIN when card Tesla. Told 3 times on the phone I’ll collect 26th (although I know could/will change).

I've found that it was random but it was worth checking multiple times a day. My only advice is know the spec you want/the specs you'd be happy with and then be prepared to act on it as soon as you can.

M3P white black no extras. Ordered end jan but found out lease company stated April which might be a reason why I’ve waited so long. Have they found yours yet?

Sounds lovely! Nope they haven’t, Tesla in the US are trying to locate it now, thinking of going for a red/white inventory one if it pops up now though!
I thinks that’s the best colour combination but just couldn’t get it in my budget.
I hope they find it soon or do you a deal on something at the end of the month, I’ve read they do that sometimes just to shift metal at the end of the quarter.
