My switch stats weren’t showing any received packets that would indicate a download happened overnight. Based on @Pinot.Noir post, I kicked off a tcpdump. Didn’t see any traffic so fired off the app to make sure the car was talking to the Tesla and Akami servers, which it did.

After a few seconds, I saw the download start! Still no prompt to install yet as it’s only been 40 minutes since it started, so I suppose the car is still unpacking and checking the dump.

Will update when complete. Sad about the sparse features, but more excited about the drivability improvements others have seen. Hopefully not just an AP2.5 thing.
