Drafting now in fourth week. Still no VIN and communication virtually nonexistent. Well, waiting for days on end for a reply back. Basically I hawk my inbox like a chicken hawk hawking a chicken farm!

is the question when the below showed up? Or something else?
We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment.
I had created an account long before an actual order (8/11). Placed the order with a sales rep. AFAIK, that line above showed up right away.
Of course no VIN yet. And I'm really conflicted. Of course I've got the itch bad, but also figure that the longer I wait the better the QC will be. And I've got an nice '15 Outback that I like and runs fine.
