Just curious, how much is list price? If anyone within driving distance from San Diego wants to get rid of it, I'd be happy to take it off your hands, how about half of list price or make me an offer.

I've seen a Youtube video that mentions $58 or $78. I guess I can call the Tesla SC and ask them.Just curious, how much is list price?
My car was built at a time where all the necessary hardware for the speaker was there (just no speaker). So to answer your question, yes the added speaker works. I just wanted to know what size screws worked for it, and I think I found them.Your car either came with one or it didn't, can you add the speaker to a car that wasn't designed with one?

Yes if the car has the speaker grill then most likely it has the wire hookup for the speaker. If you turn your wheel all the way to the left and take the wheel well liner tabs out (I believe it’s 3-4). Peel the liner back and look up and the cable should be there taped up.How do you know if your car came with the hardware? I have seen some TM3s that have the place for the speaker to be mounted, does that mean that the sound generator is there? Is there a wire to hook it up?
Your serious missing something...Holiday updateWhy would you want your car to make noise? Or am I missing something?

underneath right front skid plate. There should be holes in it shape of a circle/Do you guys know where speaker grill would be found? Also, would your car still get the horn update? Mine didn't receive any updates yet.

Just because you have the holes does not mean you have the wiring harness for it.Gotcha! I see the holes. So I should be able to plug and play a speaker? Will my car still receive the proper update? Or will Tesla have to "activate it", rather than receiving the proper update over the air? Make sense?
It’s about $60 from the service centerI'm guessing thereof be a lot of original model y owners looking to buy these now. We all have the wiring, just need to speaker. I'd buy one for the right price.
I haven’t received the update so I don’t know if Boombox will be accessible when I get it. However the reverse and forward sound is working after a reset using the scroll wheels. The car recognized the speaker. What year and month was ur car built?Do you guys know where speaker grill would be found? Also, would your car still get the horn update?
