Warm Silver Pictures (aka Titanium)

The more I see pictures, the more I am intrigued. I will have to see it in person. For those who have, how do you feel about the interior. I have been focused on gray on gray with a black headliner for a while now, but this does raise an option for alternative color scheme. Bough I wonder if I would have to give up gray seats for tan to really go with the flow of the car.
I've only seen Titanium with the tan interior, which as you might expect, goes together extremely well. I think it would fine with black, but I'm not so sure about gray. While Titanium looks different depending on light conditions, it is mainly a brown/bronze tone and I personally would not try it with gray.

But it far be it from me to criticize someone else's choices! The best way to critique a color choice is to quietly not to buy it.

Yeah. I really look forward to seeing it in person at some point. I actually very much liked the old green and wasn't opposed to the old brown, so Titanium could be in the running. Just depends really if it's too gold for my taste. I had a "desert dune metallic" Toyota before and disliked how gold it was. But I've seen somewhat olive brown cars on the road and loved them. We shall see.

Well, I liked the Titanium color enough after I posted the pictures of the Seattle demo car to switch my 85D order from red to the new color. Here is my 85D after taking delivery today.

Wow, I just saw a 70D in this color awaiting delivery at Fremont. I haven't seen any pictures that do this color justice -- stunning in the bright sun. My pictures didn't come out so I wont post them, but this color is great. I initially thought "meh" based on all the pictures I've seen, but it looks great in person. Very 3 dimensional and lots of color (more gold than pictures capture), less drab than most of the pictures seem. I don't like gold cars, and gold in general, but this looked good.

You are exactly correct. The color changes so much that it is hard to capture in a photo.

Agreed, this color looks so much better in person. There was a P85D with California plates leaving the 25th Street (NYC) gallery a few weeks ago when I pulled up and I was blown away they had a customized paint job. Found out it was actually the titanium silver.

Great understated look in person.

i went to the tesla showroom yesterday for a test drive. while waiting for the specialist to finish up his prior appointment i was looking around and found the physical swatch of titanium paint.

in the showroom it looks like a grey/green not so pleasant looking paint. however while walking up to the tester p85d there was a titanium 70d parked right next to it and i was very impressed by the color in the garage bay lighting. i attempted to take a photo of it but my phone failed to capture the tone and depth of the paint. very cool color and i hope its still around by december.

Oh wow, that Prius color is horrendous! I ALMOST got Titanium, that is what my order was, and then I changed it to solid white and confirmed. I love the white Hybrid Toaureg we are replacing with the Model S - a bright white color, non metallic, etc. Titanium would definitely be my 2nd choice though, or then blue (but we have so much trouble keeping our blue X5 looking clean already)...
