Another week: No VIN - Estimated Delivery: September 14 - September 29

I emailed the Lynnwood WA service center and someone called me within 30 min and was able to address my questions. Amazing help from those guys.

Spoke with my Sales advisor regarding the removal of RTA tax from my sale. He mentioned I should be seeing a VIN soon (within a few days). I am in the WA area, Model Y Performance - Black seats in case anyone is interested. Will keep fingers crossed.

Just reached out to my SA this morning asking about VIN assignment and delivery. From what he told me, I may be receiving my VIN sometime this week and expect delivery towards the end of the month.

I ordered the MYP white on black, no tow, no FSD. Current EDD still says 9/14 to 9/30. Thought I'd spread the knowledge in case others are in a similar state.

My second order got a VIN yesterday with an EDD of 9/14-17. VIN 267XXX. Originally ordered on 6/20/2021.

Released back into the general population today.

MYLR, 7 Seat, tow, black, black, with the inductions.

Had my home delivery of a LR Blue/White today. The Renton SC was easy to work with on the drop-off and I didn't have any issues with that. I completed the full checklist this afternoon and only found 2 issues.

1. The back panel on the driver side has a pretty large gap in it. I scheduled a service appointment for this.
   
2. While driving, the plastic on the dashboard is squeaking a little bit. Not sure if it needs to be broken in some or not. I went ahead and added it to my service appointment for the panel gap.

The Renton SC is pretty backed up when it comes to appointments. The first open spot they had was on 10/4.

Same. I’m guessing we all woke up to the same EDD adjustment. I suspect VINS will come sometime in the next 5 days.

@Quiet Coyote Same; I’m wondering if it’s a sign that we will all be getting VINs the same time, or if it’s a generic, “we don’t know yet” extension. I would guess that latter, as we all have different colors and configurations.

Nice looking car. Did you car come with front mud flaps and rear paint protection film?

Seems like the "tow" option is holding up newer and older orders... Not sure why Tesla doesn't note this on the order page so you can make an informed decision. Had I known, I would have just ordered the "tow" kit from the Tesla store for $1200.....

Same here got changed tp 9/18 to 9/30. I’m hoping that VIN will be coming soon. The Lynnwood team helped me to move my delivery at home to pickup in Lynnwood.

Just a note, Lynnwood pickup would have a 10.8% vehicle tax vs. a 10.4% if you had it delivered at home.
