Anyone here getting updates on MYP's? My current delivery window starts a week from tomorrow and I am still pushed off to a one month spread with no changes for more than a month now. Guessing I am going to get pushed into March, in which case I am going to probably lose my mind a little bit. Original EDD was 12/28-12/31, less than 2 months after ordering. Looks like my wait time is going to be at least double what was quoted.

You're definitely in a better spot then most of us. Side note for you all, you can change where your car is registered at any time. Might not change your upfront sales tax but those RTA fees are bull ish...

I know it's a cliché, but I really thought my EDD was going to stick. My morning ritual of checking the Tesla app for any update on my order was met with seeing my Feb 7-March 7 EDD moved back to Feb 27-March 27. At this point, it's basically just a minor bummer.

I believe our state allows the insurance card/doc on our phones. That's what I do so I always have the latest insurance card with me.

I showed up a little early because I didnt know how traffic would be. But they got me rolling quickly, signed a couple of docs. Then the nice lady helped my sync my phone and I was off to kick butt on the roads.

I'm still waiting on my MYP. Considering a 2021 inventory with about 16k miles. I'd save $8000 and get it sooner - both FSD, w/ towing, same color, etc... Any thoughts on whether the 2022 updates are worth the longer wait and higher cost?

What's your thoughts around front plate? Tesla concern around insurance incongruent with plate and esthetics; wish we could get something smaller, integrated into the design, and still display plate perhaps through digital signature...

I’ve never had the front plate on any of my vehicles. In my entire life I got stopped for it once and it was when I was in the car pool lane with dark tinted windows. I still think he was just checking to see if I had anyone in the vehicle with me. Asked if I had a registration I told him yes he told me to read the little line at the bottom about requiring a front plate and get it fixed and walked away. Never even asked for license, insurance etc.

even in California many tesla owners don’t have front plates. I personally put it on after about a couple months just cause I don’t want any trouble later but I don’t think it should be a problem.
