Congrats bakerboy!
I will say, that's quite a jump on insurance.. Mine only went up $12.

Thanks malken00!!! Who is your insurance carrier?

Your lucky you have the tech package on your car. Because the 2012/13 was lacking quite some stuff without it. Like HID headlights, Fogs, Power Litigate, 7 Years of map and navigation, LED daytime running lamps, Auto Presenting Door Handles, Memory Seats, and LED interior lighting. You would be missing out on somethings if you didn't get it.

Nice! The tech pack was one thing I made sure the car had!!!!!

Well, I hope it's at least decent for the drive home. LoL

Its very decent for the drive home. Its very crisp and clean, but you do have to turn up the sub to be able to hear it on the default eq settings. Lots of folks complain about it, but frankly, with a USB FLAC audio source, its one of the nicer stock car sound systems I have owned. It compares favorably to the B&O system my husband's Audi has (and is miles better than the Bose my prior car had).

I have an earlier 2013 that just missed the power folding mirrors, so yours will probably have those. Mine does have parking sensors, but it was a $500 option, so even if it was available, your car may not have them. Also, I don't appear to have fog lights even though I do have a Tech package (at least I haven't found the option in the menu to turn them on or anything). I believe there was a period of time in 2013 when fog lights were removed from the Tech package.

I was ambivalent about my CF spoiler when I ordered my car, but now that I have it, I really like the looks of it. It really adds a nice touch. I doubt I will ever drive fast enough to actually NEED it, but I am glad I have it anyway.

I have a very similarly spec'd car except I paid $8k more in December, so you definitely got a good deal.

My CPO P85 was built in Dec 2013 and has both folding mirrors and parking sensors. I believe Tesla made them standard during the August 2013 refresh. So you will probably have them. Both are nice features to have, in my opinion.

I have a blue metallic with the CF spoiler. I REALLY like the way it looks. It really adds to the side profile of the car and when I see a Tesla without out, it just seems off to me. I was hoping to find a CPO with the spoiler. I also have the red calipers which I thought were tacky, but they have grown on me. I didn't get the performance seats. I don't find the gen 1 seats to be that bad or uncomfortable, but I do tend to slide a bit during quick cornering.

Have fun. I hope the CPO wait time is minimal. I picked up my car 10 days after I placed the order with the CPO advisor, which was a bit of a shock. I was actually worried that the car wasn't going to given the proper tesla treatment in such a short time. But it was as close to flawless as you can get and I haven't had any major problems with 3 months of ownership.

I ordered in October and delivered in first week of December 2013. When I ordered, folding mirrors were not part of the tech package and I was surprised to find I had them on delivery. My vin's in the 26xxx series. If you've got a tight garage, they're nice.

Congrats! Work on your in-home charging set-up to keep yourself busy for six weeks :)

This can be your first road trip.....

All the interiors are real in the sense that there is a very thin veneer of the wood or carbon fiber fabric glued to a plastic substrate that is the real strength of the part. The veneer is around .8 mm thick! I know, because I made my own decor panels using Tesla supplied substrates.

Your car just has LED cornering lights. In order to get fogs you would have to get PUP.

Thanks everyone!!!!!

What can I expect from the sound studio package? I LOVE listening to music, especially through a nice thought out system!!! Is there a factory sub-woofer?

I agree I am a new Tesla owner as well and have the Studio Package. My pathfinder stereo sounded much better, but like @Jashev said the rest of the car is so nice you just deal with it. It could be much better for such a nice car

I dont think PUP existed in 2013. I do have the extended leather, premium lighting, and tech package, so I am guessing fog lights just weren't available. (Or I havent found the menu yet, that is possible too)

Sorry I meant Premium Interior and lighting Package. PUP was just on my brain. Correct me if im wrong but fogs were a separate option they were like $500 if I remember correctly.

I think you are correct. I dug around a bit and found some old threads referencing the removal of the Gen 1 fog lights in 2013 and people getting retrofits to the Gen 2, etc. Its hard to keep up with all the changes Tesla makes.

Does anyone know what the 200 point inspection consists of when Tesla makes a MS CPO?

You can request a copy of it from your delivery specialist, once they complete the CPO inspection. It covers everything from inspecting the body panels and glass to hinges, latches, tire depth, functionality of all systems, miles of range at 100% etc. I asked for a copy prior to delivery and it was interesting to see what was noted and what repairs they did.

Thanks outerlimits!!! That's great to know!

Thanks Chaz!! I forgot to mention the car is in Dublin (Bay Area) and they said it would take 1 week to get to the L.A. area (Buena Park, Ca) and then up to 5 more weeks for the CPO process.
