After a career in corporate business, I spent my last working years as a consultant asset manager for a venture capital business or legalised crime syndicate - depended on whether you were a donor or recipient of money from them.
Tiring of such futility, I retired to the west of France with my wife. Four years ago I became a Tesla Beta test consultant. I can work from home and the hours are flexible. Strange job, I don't get any feedback from them. The rest of my time is filled with the study of the final product from the Bordeaux and Cognac grapes that are prevalent in the area.

Simple question really, what do you do (or did you do) for a living?

I’ve been on here for about 2 years now and some people talk about some amazing things that I literally have no idea about - primarily kWh, solar power, software and other electrical stuff. So just thought it would be interesting.

I’m a British Army Officer. Served since 2002 as a young private and pushed up the ranks to commissioning 2 years ago. Seen almost every conflict in that time and seen every continent on the planet.
I guess they won't be recruiting you to the Dragonfire team any time soon 😁

Software Engineer

IT Project Manager, Mainly Networking (SDWAN is the latest and greatest technology everyone seems to be selling these days). So I am the poor bugger who has to deliver the solutions the likes of @FastLaneJB has designed 😂 (I am sure you are one of the good ones ;) )
Well you are the one who will take the credit for it if it goes well.......Technically it is the Software/hardware engineers who actually do the delivery. 😁

I like the keep a level of hands on to make sure I'm not pushing undeliverable solutions :) It's the age old thing though, Delivery doesn't trust Pre-Sales, Support Teams don't trust Delivery and no one likes Project Managers :p Just kidding ;)
