I hope so. I vowed to only buy P cars in the future but this Y is a hold over for the tri-motor truck. Also the boosted AWD 3 is plenty fast for now. That said, if they offer boost on the Y I’m all in. It was such a game changer on the 3.
When I bought my LR MY, my sales rep thought maybe at the end of the year or whenever Tesla sells enough MYs that the extra cash infusion would boost their revenue. He said $2K or $3K for the price.

As an owner of a 980 Model 3 AWD+ I’ve been hoping to pay, nearly anything, to upgrade to P or nearly there. I’ve lost all hope for that happening. I can’t see that happening with the Y either.
As a 980 Y owner, not seeing that happening either. And if it would, it would more likely be in the $5-8K range (considering AWD to P price difference).
