While true, most cars don't have an app that sends notifications to your phone about the status of your car. While I didn't mind getting notifications about "P410xx" since I easily recognized the VIN of my car, it was more fun to just name it. If you have all messaging turned off, I don't suppose a name matters much.

After more than a year without a name, I eventually went with "Serendipity." However, I have long considered changing it to "Slug" since my S-60 is the slowest model of Tesla ever made (so far as I am aware).
