What will be the new HP numbers for AWD and P after 12.4?

A very important issue that most people seem to miss is that PEAK HP is an almost worthless indication of real performance. Actual performance is based on the amount of power available under the curve not just at the peak.

Any number of people have rebuilt their ICE cars to obtain a high peak HP on a dyno and discovered their car was actually much slower.

Gearing IS also an important consideration but must be based on the actual gearing (rear, trans, tire size).

you obviate the need for a transmission. You can't do that with an internal combustion engine. If you could somebody already would have.

Koenigsegg has done this, but ironically on a car that has electric motors to mitigate the liabilities of the ICE.

The Koenigsegg Regera has 1500 hp and no transmission

So I wonder, would 50 more peak hp translate to 3% average hp or in any way to 3%? If so then maybe we can extrapolate what the numbers would be like for the Model 3 at 5% as well.

These are battery input power numbers for the Performance, right? Presumably closer to 500HP to the wheels.

definitely not at the ground like dyno style.

My P85 would show 445 HP peak / 330 kW, pretty sure those motors were rated at 310kW originally

Summary here with testing results. Consistent with your number, 580HP input power to the motors.
