What's the pointy piece underneath the rocker panel for?

The pointy part near the rear tire. What's the purpose of it? My car is lowered and that part scrapes over speed bumps.

it is part of the rocker panel. Made of some composite material and I'm sure is a part of the aerodynamics to reduce drag coefficient.
