When will Sport mode be available? [non-P]

Model 3 has Arrived.
I was confused by the same thing. You have Sport Steering, but not Sport Acceleration (like the S/X). Our only acceleration options are Chill/Normal.
Ah, gotcha, thanks. I literally got all excited and went out to my car, hoping I had just gotten super-lucky.

Just kidding around with the “never” reply last year, Sport upgrade finally was offered tonight for AWD (non P). Granted it’s not P level performance. Wish it was more (track mode).
Oh snap ! Nice. Ugh paid 3k for fsd, now another 2k for this...when will it end? Lol this car keeps taking more and more from me

This is what I do now, and man oh man it is just as you describe.
Mind you my first 6 months were all driven on normal, but the problem was that my tire budget can't allow that. I'd need tires every 7-8 months.
I just wish I had custom voice control over the driving mode, now that would be cool. Bad day? "Bluesmobile, activate turbo pursuit mode".
/yeah I said turbo, I grew up with Knight Rider so sue me

Drive around in chill mode as your default. Then, when you want "Sport" mode, switch back to "Normal".
BAM! Sport mode activated.

I wouldn't mind if they added another paid option to just make it full P3-. I feel like there are still plenty of people who would pay Tesla another 1-2k for that. But only time will tell if that ever becomes available. In the meantime, I am quite satisfied with the current paid boost.

glad to be proven wrong! Not really a sport mode but would like a P3D- upgrade for my AWD..
Looks like I was wrong again! It actually does add the Sport drive setting!
