White interior with wood dash from factory. Oops

3 white panels and a black panel on the driver side door.....so I assume exact same!

Yes I do have the carfax. zero history of any repairs, accidents etc.

I really hope it does happen to me!
I have a Red Y with white interior on order. It was only today when I noticed a parked Y with white interior that I discovered , with shock, the white plastic dash. I have only seen the white interior on the Tesla website and thought the dash to be alloy. Oh dear, shall I try changing to black interior....
that would probably put my order back for some time.....

I'll admit the biggest problem with the white dash is when trying a left or right turn, the big white reflection off the side windows. But no need to change. Just buy a dashboard wrap or cover and that white dash is gone.

I too got the wood dash with the white interior, but I liked the wooden dash so much that I had wooden seats installed to match

Beats a while glaring dash! Since this, I matched the walnut on the dash to walnutize my console, with the Hills wooden veneer.

Do Tesla UK have a Parts department?
I wonder if it would be possible to buy the wooden dash. Perhaps the dash has a mass of electronics attached to its underside.

Yes, you can buy the wooden dash piece from the Tesla SC for $175, which is what I did. Easy install; just pops out and snaps in. 1 minutes job.
Keep the wood dashboard. We received our new MY about a month ago with white interior. In Florida the sun is very bright and the glare from the white dashboard is not only distracting but also dangerous. It reflects off the side windows and blocks the view of the side mirrors. I am going to try to replace it with wood. I do not like wraps.

Agreed! Love the wood dash, console and white everything else. The yoke matches our Plaid’s yoke, for communality.

More likely that they had run out of white ones for a couple of days, but had a room full of wooden ones so they just used those instead
It's not like this should be a surprise really
Mind you, it's better quality control than you see at VW . . .
