Who gets the next VINs, 90s with 5 seats or 75s with coils and 6/7 seats?

Amen I say to you @vandacca for a folding second row. But Woah unto thee with non-folding 2nd row seats in your garages, as your wrath will be heard by all of us who are delaying assignment of our VIN as 5 seat recipients who get the folding 2nd row that ye all desire!

So the next round of sales calls is:...Upgrade your 5 seat to a 6 or 7 seat for Aug./Sept delivery at a x% discount. Ones the calls are done, orders locked, five seats start getting VINs....Do we see a pattern people?

I don't because they discounted the SAS by 50% to get that upgrade. SAS for $1250 has got to be near to their cost.

Just heard from my DS about my 75D with the discounted SAS upgrade. He said they are shooting for a mid-to-late JUNE factory delivery. I confirmed that he said June, not July.

Latest update from my "Senior Delivery Experience Specialist" - 6/2/16

"Sorry for the long delay, Looking at your configuration it looks like you’ve ordered the 5 seat option. We’ve changed the estimated production timing from mid-2016 to late 2016 for the 5 seat interior to begin production. I know this isn’t the news a lot of people want to hear. If you would like to upgrade to the 6 or 7 seat interior to pull delivery timing forward a bit, let me know and I can look into it for you. Let me know if you have any questions."

And the wait goes on.

This is the next marketing campaign. We just finished with upgrade to SAS from coils to "get your car sooner". Now, "upgrade your seat configuration". It will be interesting to see if they get many people to jump at this one. I would guess most 5 seat orders, like me, want the extra space, don't need the seats. Perhaps if they don't fill production slots, with the campaign, the 5 seaters will come earlier?

Seems like a weird DS comment as 2 people from EU both confirmed VIN assignments for 5 seat versions last Monday/Tuesday. I kinda figured that some USA 5 seaters would get VINs tonight or tomorrow.

My DS said the same which is why I switched the the 7 seat config 2 weeks ago. Still no VIN after the switch either
