Why are all car paint colors so boring?

You think the colors are boring now....you should have seen the original blue and green. They were terrible.....you could only differentiate them from black in direct sunlight. I held off on buying my car because I knew an actual blue was coming.

When I buy the Roadster I will likely be wrapping it. The current blue is nice...I have it on both Tesla's...but the Roadster deserves something more exotic.

I would expect the Roadster to be offered in some much more interesting colors, just like the original was:

Wife wants the re-order to be white, which to me makes the roof look as if it belongs to another car!

It really does. That was the nice thing about Silver, a light colour that still somehow matched the glass roof far better than the Pearl White.

I’m not normally a Silver person but really like how the Model 3 looks in it.

I admire the color for how it looks. It has nothing to do with how popular a color is. I couldn't care less about that aspect. I like what I like.

I don't know about you but most people feel their long time spouse is boring and one night stand is exciting.
