I mean probably but these solutions are all around $100 or less. Is it really worth the hassle to save $50 or so?

I love the XVIDA as it is nice to have my phone by the screen. I also have the Jeda 2 and it was the biggest waste of money for me. I have not used it since the last update that required me to go buy new wires for it.

Well, you're in luck. Tesla fixed the USB power issue in firmware 2019.12.1.1, so no data blocker cables are needed anymore.

Some people have tried mounting thin Qi chargers like this one behind the stock rubber pads. But it'll never be as stable as a proper one. If you don't want to pay a lot, get the Taptes for $50 (currently in stock at Amazon).

had gen 1 jeda and it was garbage (warping, phone slides around, slow charging) and replaced it with a Taptes. Much happier!

I originally had a couple cheap wireless chargers behind the Tesla pad, but the phone didn't charge very fast and the cheapies would fail. After both failed in less than a month, I got the Taptes and it works much better, a lot less material between the phone the charger so it charged faster and it's still working 5 months later.

For what it’s worth, I have a tesla wireless charger with a small stack of gift cards to keep the phone from sliding in. Works perfectly

I went with the ROCCS version from @mazon. It was just decent. It held up to two phones but was not very sticky so the phones would slip around a good bit. Also, I had to unplug and plug the USB in many times over the 1 week that I had it. Then the right side completely stopped working.

I returned it soon after and went with the Nomad. It is night and day better than the other one. Super tacky surface so the phone does not move at all. Also charges at a decent rate and is just rock solid. Sweet packaging by the way as well. It cost more but totally worth it,

Taptes is working fine. In between one software version cause some issue with charging, but it is fixed in last two builds.

But I think Gen 2 Jeda is the way to go if you do not mind additional $50.

Are there any wireless chargers for the Midel 3 that will work properly with a phone in a Mophie battery Qi case with a magnet in the case? I’m concerned about the metal in the case blocking the charger’s Qi effectiveness.

I like my Taptes, but the big drawback is the shipping time. Because it’s international, it took a really long time to receive, maybe a month. If you can wait, it works great and is a good value.

Jeda isn't shipping as far as I can tell (I ordered in April and they stated end of April shipping and now they state end of May)... so the choice is any other as far as I can tell.

Get comfortable. Their fulfillment is really poor. Seems they've adopted the promise early and beg for forgiveness later model. Nonetheless, because I'm a glutton for punishment I ordered one too. In the meantime, I'm just using the original setup.

I had one on order, but got tired of waiting, ordered a Nomad, and it shipped same day. Submitted a Jeda refund request and had that the next day. Very happy with the Nomad. Just works - it’s everything I hoped it would be.
