Probably a dumb question but is there anyway to mount a cheap wireless charger behind the Tesla pad?
Well, you're in luck. Tesla fixed the USB power issue in firmware 2019.12.1.1, so no data blocker cables are needed anymore.I love the XVIDA as it is nice to have my phone by the screen. I also have the Jeda 2 and it was the biggest waste of money for me. I have not used it since the last update that required me to go buy new wires for it.
Some people have tried mounting thin Qi chargers like this one behind the stock rubber pads. But it'll never be as stable as a proper one. If you don't want to pay a lot, get the Taptes for $50 (currently in stock at Amazon).Probably a dumb question but is there anyway to mount a cheap wireless charger behind the Tesla pad?

Jeda isn't shipping as far as I can tell (I ordered in April and they stated end of April shipping and now they state end of May)... so the choice is any other as far as I can tell.
Get comfortable. Their fulfillment is really poor. Seems they've adopted the promise early and beg for forgiveness later model. Nonetheless, because I'm a glutton for punishment I ordered one too. In the meantime, I'm just using the original setup.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, you can simply order it from Amazon (fulfillment by Amazon). The currently have it in stock.I like my Taptes, but the big drawback is the shipping time. Because it’s international, it took a really long time to receive, maybe a month. If you can wait, it works great and is a good value.
