I have a MX75D Sep 2016 built with 36k miles on it. My 90% was around 207 and slowly moved to 204. I had a Sw update this weekend, I noticed that my 90% became 200. Anyone else experienced this change, I wonder something changed in the rated miles calculation.

90% charge was 206. seems kind of low though it is on par with everyone else's number here.

translates to only 228 for 100% as opposed to 237 advertised?

i'll charge to 100% some time and check to see what that is.

Range Mode doesn’t change the RATED range. It’s a fixed number (wh/mile) which NEVER changes...

The rated range is displayed at your instrument cluster.

Sorry, but it stays the same for me. Even after several minutes.
Which makes sense for me since the EPA rating comes up with one number for each vehicle/battery combination.
Let me know if I’m wrong!

After 15K Miles and just over a year of ownership:

90% is between 229-231

Odd thing is the my Tesla app on iOS says charging is complete usually at 227 or 228 miles, but the vehicle charges to 229-231. Probably just a bug with the app...

Now approaching 2 years of ownership and about 28k miles

90% is consistently between 217-222 miles depending on weather and my driving habits
I recently charged to 100% for a road trip and that was a rated range of 246 miles

Based on what I can tell, this "realization" of what the true rated range could be seems to have stabilized a bit as I have not seen it going lower at any point. In fact, summer driving seems to be great for the rated range because you're not using the heating system as much and on some days can drive with just the windows down and no A/C as well.

We are probably going to have 70k on the odometer when the 2 year anniversary hits end of September. So, we get full use out of the car.
It is still ~5% loss... we will see how it's doing in a year... still got 6 years of warranty on the pack
