Tabs are not broken currently . Tesla broke one trying to install it the 2nd time

I did get it wrapped . Tesla has gone out of the way to try and fix it ! But I don’t want to pay and it just pops off anyways ! This is a problem I’ve had since I received the car before I wrapped it

My SA and the mobile service tech who came both told me wrapping wouldnt be an issue and should be fine. So if they both work for tesla , why wouldnt I move forward with it ?

Tesla Rocklin they didnt say anything about wording. just said they arent allowed to work on anything that is wrapped. or even tinted windows

the issues before wrap was : alignment of one of the plastic black piece on outside driver window noise coming into car from that side window misalignment of one of the taillights big gap on one of headlights after frunk realignment and the side cameras not showing sides of car in Sentry mode ...

They said they cant do any work on the car anymore because of the wrap. All the stuff they would normally check for free and fix when you first receive the car. The only way they can work on it is if i pay $200 an hour for them to assess what needs to be done. and then pay labor plus $200 rate

This is my model S 3 weeks after receiving it .

So first week of receiving the car , there was multiple issues . the mobile service tech came out , said he could only adjust the frunk and I would have to bring in the model s into a service center for wind noise and other alignment issues with lights. I asked the service tech , the same thing...

But the vinyl wrap is protecting the original paint

I’m getting 3m vinyl wrap . Some places suggest vinyl wrap with ppf on top for protection . But I think it’s unnecessary since the vinyl wrap is the protection . I’m wrapping it a completely different color , something graphite maybe . .

When my date range changes from Nov 5-15th I got vin the 5th . Said earliest I could take delivery was the 12th. Called into Tesla pickup location and was able to pick it up on the 8th

I’ll post more pics after the wrap and stuff . Will take about a week

Hey all . I was able to call in and receive my s 5 days early . Thanks for all the input and checkpoints on what to look for ! Everything was good . Except a small gap in the frunk . Not by much , scheduling a day and Tesla will send someone out to fix it soon ! Now it’s time to take it strait...
