Yep same here.. The Greens also mention the option of perhaps salary sacrificing EV charging equipment as well: "The Greens also say the ATO will issue guidance on when household charging technology can be included within fringe benefits tax-exempt vehicle packages" (from Car expert article)...

Keep in mind that you'll have to pay the GST when you pay out your novated lease so the benefit wouldn't be much after only a year..

Bingo! The main benefit of the Tesla charger, aside from cost, is the ability to unlock the charging cable with the button. Without it, you either have to get in the car and unlock it on the screen or fish out your phone, open the app and hit stop charging which can quickly get tedious...

LR is also now $10k more for the same spec: In Qld, $78k on road at lowest price, now (including 19 inch rims and MSM) it's $88k.. It's not often an asset appreciates before you even get it! :)

Just spoke with the Tesla business manager for Australia and he said there will be both significant 3 and Y deliveries in Australia in Q3.

We use it for our pool cars because you can unlock the charge cable with it without having to fish out your phone or get into the car to use the screen first. Also being in an underground carpark, mobile coverage is sketchy at best..
