The new ones were put in immediately to the west of the existing, old ones. You can always tell the 250 kW units from the 150 kW ones because, ironically, the plug-in cables are thinner in the higher power 250 kW chargers. (Smaller, my understanding is, because they are liquid cooled.)

Here's the worst I've experienced in a Model X — not too terribly much elevation gain, but the temp was quite low & resulted in efficiency under 50%. Pretty brutal.

Also, the tires themselves play a pretty significant role. I put in snow tires this winter & while it’s hard to quantify exactly, I’d bet they added a good 5 to 10% increase in consumption just by themselves.

Having just completed a 2900 mile road trip, I must respectfully disagree. In my experience, wind is a giant factor. 80 mph with a 15 mph tailwind is like going 65 mph. Temp is also a huge factor. Nothing you can do to recover the efficiency loss of traveling at 30 degrees.

Yeah, the specs would most definitely be helpful! Can’t remember where I read it, but somehow got it in my head the the 3 and the Y had the same wheelbase. They may, but obviously we don’t know that for certain.

Sounds like you need to move to the midwest. Our Superchargers are largely empty or have at the most 1 or 2 other Teslas using them.

I think you might have missed what I was referring to... I was talking about the VIN #, which is the Vehicle Identification Number number and redundant. It should just be a VIN, like on the phone app. Not a VIN #.

It works, but a apparently I can't stay within the lines very well. It was always going off and got very annoying. I turned it off.

You can make it show battery percent! Open the Controls screen, choose Settings at the top, then Units & Format on the side. About the 4th item down is Energy & Charging. This allows you to toggle between showing battery charge in percentage or in estimated range.
