    DIY Filter Replacement Tips

Abstract Ocean has a magnet thing to replace that screw (and a new cover), after you swap it once the inner rectangular part just pops off pretty easily. Well, once you get all the layers out of the way. It's about time to do mine again, and I have to admit I'm not looking forward to it...

    Aftermarket wheels on stock vehicles

I'm liking the rounded lip on the T Sportline TS5s (this is a stock pic from their site). I just wish I could get them in a bright finish to work on my '18LR Blue/Chrome.

I don't know why but I feel like those would whistle on the freeway... 🤣 But I'm sure that they actually don't, it would be too annoying. Really nice!

Blog Harley-Davidson Launching LiveWire EV Brand

Very cool, what sort of freeway range do you get( and at what speed)? I really want an electric but my current commute is 98% freeway and I can't charge at work. Edit: Website says 143 mile range combined, I bet it would have little problem with 80mph / 21miles each way... And I looked up...

Are the Green and White cars running air suspension, or just terrified of speed bumps? Mostly kidding, but I do see plenty of cars around here lowered to the point of not coping with the real world, but that's a fashion choice... Whoops- I mean last page- somehow I was a handful of posts behind.

Is Autopilot at fault in this accident?

I was just laughing at 'a year later he's doing better'. And 'stuck in the car'. Semi's fault entirely, but the M3 driver probably shouldn't be on the road if that's the response to a stressful situation.

Please help!!! [should I return my car?]

My thought s as a 2018 LR W/ EAP owner: I use EAP every day that I drive the car- it's really nice on the freeway. The upgraded sound system in pretty great, and it's done San Diego to Detroit and back with no stress (actually easier than driving ICE). You didn't mention the color of the LR...

Solar Roof - Texas - HOA declined

If you already have solar in the neighborhood, they are being pedantic. And I can't find if the Federal law preventing the HOA block passed, but HOA Restrictions on Solar Panels – Texas Energy Experts indicates Texas says the HOA can't block on aesthetics.

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

It's worth mentioning that (as listed in the ArsTechnica story) Starlink sats are considered 'Low altitude' for this case. They are in the shadow of the Earth during most of the prime observation time, only causing trouble the hours closest to the terminator. I think that with a little good...

I think it's also important to remember the importance of the reduced latency. If the page can load quickly, 80% of consumers will not notice that they are 'only' seeing about low end cable speed for overall throughput. I understand there will be edge cases, but for people that have been stuck...

Time for new tires on my dual motor

I have to admit I'm looking to go fairly cheap, as I'm on 19s right now but thinking about new wheels next year. So I'm looking at Dunlop Signature HP's I've never had a problem with similar tires from them... https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/dunlop-signature-hp/p/88200

I'm fairly sure it's already been mentioned here somewhere, but all of the last batch of sats had the shades to greatly reduce their reflectivity. I don't know if the shades get deployed right away or after reaching stable orbit, but the problem is being worked (this is the second or third...

Poll: Model 3 Phone Key Failure Rate

I really do want the app fixed, but it's not hard to have a one more card in my wallet. I put it in the pocket closest to the outside, and just touch my wallet to the B pillar if the phone is being dumb. then it gets tossed into the cupholder since I hate sitting on a wallet, and away I go!
