Thanks for posting about you phone. Makes me think it is a issue with Tesla's backend. Also the car seems to have data because the map is showing. No LTE service in Indianapolis either. Interestingly, my AT&T iPhone is working just fine.
I think that’s just cached. Mine showed for some and was grated out in newer areas I haven’t visited recently but then connected to the hotspot on my phone and it worked just fine. Thanks for posting about you phone. Also out in Chicago, don’t think I had any from 7am when I left home ... but did not notice until I realized why Tesla maps was giving a very optimistic rush hour commute (no traffic data).
I find it strange that the LTE service for the car is down, but is working just fine on my phone. When I connected the car to my phone’s mobile hotspot everything worked, so it is clearly a network issue. Obviously not all network services are down though.
Still out in Chicago at 10:44 a.m. and no problems with my phone's AT&T LTE.
Still out 11:05 for me also in Chicago.
The thought crossed my mind...Perhaps Tesla truly did not pay their AT&T bill!
