Appears TeslaFi has detected a new firmware 2017.41. Anyone received this and can update us what has changed?

In the Tesla Firmware Upgrade Tracker I can only see 2017.40.1 xxxxxx.

Not every TeslaFi subscriber is necessarily contributing the the firmware tracker.

And many that contribute to ev-fw do so manually; you can set up auto-update but many choose not to do so. TeslaFi is automatic info from the api.

The populations do overlap but not anywhere near 100%, of course.

It is strange we still only have one 17.41 sample.

Indeed as many of us are reluctant to give our login credentials to a third party, people like myself are much more comfortable just entering our firmware details manually.

Login credentials? There are several ways to create the token, on TeslaFi and elsewhere, or on your own PC, and as far as I know, you don’t leave your credentials on any site.

Up to you what you are comfortable with.

No doubt but the vast majority just use their login credentials on the teslafi site I suspect and that's still giving a 3rd party your credentials.

Those are notes from 17.40.1. We’re looking for notes from 17.41. So far only two reports of this on ev-fw and TeslaFi (meaning none on ev-fw last time I looked!).

Tons of 17.40.1, only three 17.41 (on TeslaFi, none on ev-fw). 17.40.1 may be a full release since it has those new publicized features in it (Homelink and Camper). 17.41, who knows, no notes seen, and no comments from anyone I can find!
