Just received my delivery declaration from Tesla - so all set for Monday.

Hope those having deliveries today are all okay - all gone a bit quiet!....maybe you are all just enjoying your new toys!? i hope so!

It’s the usual thing of mass forum-based excitement prior to collection, then radio silence as everyone uses 500kw of electricity in first days of ownership just driving the things and playing with all the toys !

This is wrapped around the cable that the firemen cut if you get into an accident in order to make the car safe.

Mine arrived around 4pm, they sent me the text me I could track the driver until he arrived. Delivery took 5 minutes, this car is amazing! No panel gaps, no scratches, nothing. Came with 11 miles. Wireless charging and usb-c as reported.
I have the new software update. The wait is definitely worth it guys. Hang in there.

M3 LR delivery scheduled for 2nd September from Heathrow. No VIN yet, should I be concerned?

If you have a delivery confirmed via SMS that you replied YES to - then you have a VIN allocated - just call Tesla on the number they gave you, quoting your RN, and ask for the VIN if you need to know for insurance etc

Not had an SMS yet, just the delivery date from my online account?

Best bet is to call them with your RN or use the chat facility online, you can confirm they are seeing same delivery schedule as on your online view for some reassurance

Give a brief description of the damage/add your image. Location will be your Service Centre

They stopped doing this in March I believe. You can order them through [email protected]

There are separate 16A and 32A ones, £43.00 each inc VAT.

You can order these from the online Tesla shop - takes about 3 days to arrive from the Netherlands.

Picked up my M3P from Southampton yesterday, all went well apart from a small chip out of the paintwork on the offside passenger door (which apparently is 'well within tolerance for a Tesla' and 'We at Tesla know our cars aren't made to the same quality as the bigger manufacturers, but you are paying for the technology' according to the handover rep) and a cut in the leather on the steering wheel which is apparently being sorted by a mobile service in a couple of weeks time.

Came with wireless charging, USB-C (but beware the front USB-C port is occupied by the wireless charger!), front mudflaps fitted and a pair of rears in the boot. The usual Type 2 charging cable and UMC with 13a socket were both there. No free 'day of delivery' supercharger miles, and car had about 60% charge on collection.

where exactly is the southampton delivery location? I didn't know tesla had a delivery centre in Southampton

From your message it implies tesla aren't willing to repair the chip?
