I've reported issues with charging port not locking all cables, air conditioner suddenly pumping out heat, rear hatch not latching as well as a few MCU crashes. Since all of these are intermittent, it may be a while before I can confirm they have been fixed.

My Model Y has been sitting on 2020.20.12 for weeks and no sign of a software upgrade. It has strong WiFi signal and I leave it parked in the garage unlocked. I also put it in Sentry Mode to keep it awake. Still no luck.

Software Update Preference is also set to Advanced.

Any tips or tricks I should know to help speed up the software upgrade faster?

Thanks in advance.

No idea - I just got the new update last night 2020.24.6.5 - and had the ".4" for about a week before that. I think that if you have FSD that you are getting updates faster - at least that is the way it seems reading through some of the other threads.
Good luck!

My car is in service for some minor delivery issues. But one of the things I asked them to look at was the heat coming out of the ac. It would not get cold I tired 72 down to 68 and mostly warm air coming out. I installed 24.6.5 this morning while it’s waiting for service. Someone mentioned that there was a fox for the ac problem In this update I hope so. I’m in Texas and wet have been sitting around 101-108 when I took it in

Did you also change all the settings for enable beta access too - might require FSD for those? And if you have FSD, that will bump you up, along with how often you use cruise control or FSD, which feeds info back to the mothership to improve those systems and may increase your place in line for the next update I assume. On mine, with FSD, I have it all enabled, advanced, beta, etc. whatever I could find and I make sure to use those at least once every drive. I am getting updates very quickly, on 24.6.5 now, got it yesterday morning I think.

Have you driven it recently? Mine was on 2020.20.12 for awhile, but haven't driven it in 2+ weeks since we're waiting for our appointment with the detailer to apply PPF film. Just now, decided to take it on a short spin and when we got back, the notification instantly appeared for the software update (2020.20.17 though, not 2020.24.6.4). Coincidence?
