All releases have bug fixes but all releases also create new bugs. Around and around we gohad to be a bug fix - probably either the crash reboot I experienced on 2020.24.6.4 or the reported vampire drain.
Is this common for Tesla OTAs ? My car either updated twice with the same update or this is an update to a recent update.
My Model Y has been sitting on 2020.20.12 for weeks and no sign of a software upgrade. It has strong WiFi signal and I leave it parked in the garage unlocked. I also put it in Sentry Mode to keep it awake. Still no luck.
Software Update Preference is also set to Advanced.
Any tips or tricks I should know to help speed up the software upgrade faster?
Thanks in advance.

Have you driven it recently? Mine was on 2020.20.12 for awhile, but haven't driven it in 2+ weeks since we're waiting for our appointment with the detailer to apply PPF film. Just now, decided to take it on a short spin and when we got back, the notification instantly appeared for the software update (2020.20.17 though, not 2020.24.6.4).
