2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

Nice… I took delivery on the same config today. I picked up at a delivery center - they also did not have the two key fobs and the SA I worked with today (my SA was on vacation) stated that none of the new model S they have delivered thus far have included key fobs and he was under the impression they were no longer offered. I’m going to have to call them back tomorrow to see if they can send them to me via fedex as well.
Could it be a Plaid thing? Those deliveries said they came with the fobs.

Perhaps the 19” wheels have arrived ??

My delivery date has been “blank” since March, except one day in May when it said June.

I wake up this morning to “July” . Which is hard to believe, but at this point I’ll take it. Just hoping it’s not one of those accumulating dirt by the railroad tracks.
oh nice! Good to see 19s getting some dates. Floodgates will open in August for 19s

Hmmmm that’s encouraging! I am right after you, 12/23 order 1143 white on black with 19s and same date scheme. I’ve been blank for months.

You can just put your order on hold and release the hold (online) whenever you are ready. I ordered my MYP in March 2019 and released the hold on May 2021.
O yea? I got the impression they do not hold the car since so many have been looking to purchase. I will contact my contact though and see what I can do if it never arrives in time, which i think will be the case as I have stopped looking and do not believe they will ever have the 19s released.

When you put the order on hold and when you released you did that all online? There was never any you have 3 months to undue the hold or any wording like that relayed to you? Just trying to get all the info I can before I call in. She owes me one after telling me the car was being built and I shouldn't change only to have the price rise occur no 6 hours later making that 4500 wheel change a 10k move.

I originally thought I could hold but Tesla doesn't seem very accommodating in the fact that people here haven't been able to pick it up in a 2 day time frame and Tesla just gave it away to someone else. The last thing I trust is their customer service.

I would just keep rejecting your VIN until you get back (if that is an option). Then you would have a 2022 model year, some potential updates (lights, etc) and maybe a tax incentive that kicks in (long shot) and not have your car sitting ideal for 6 months.
I was going on the having the car ideal for 6 months as having two QBs good problem to have type situation. I was just going to lend it to a family member in their twilight years if you will who is a big car guy. Also they live in FL so the move to the 21s for winter wouldn't impact me this winter. Worst case park it in a friends garage and keep it plugged. But then again this is a problem I am looking forward to having and hope to have as another two months driving in my no AC car in this heat is slowly draining my will to say the least.

They don't hold a car. They hold the reservation and pricing. Many know this strategy and will order a car knowing that the price will go up, but they don't have an intention of buying the car at that time.

To place the hold you need to have your SA or an order specialist make that change. To release the hold, a blue button will show up on your reservation, so you can release it yourself. Towards the end of my 2 year hold, I did get a few notices that they would cancel my order, but I just told my SA I wanted to extend the hold and they were fine with it. Note that I currently have a 2017 Model X, so maybe there was some courtesy applied here, but I doubt it.
