2483xxIf yours is after 2488xx then you should be gd, I've seen 2481xx with the old one if I remember correctly.

I wouldn’t expect Tesla to swap out headlights despite what some SAs have claimed. Either reject the car with old lights or prepare to just live with the old lights forever. My VIN is in the 246xxx - looks like the old headlights.
For those of you that have scheduled the mobile fix has Tesla said when they will do the install?
Thanks
If you accept a new Model 3 with the reflector headlights, you own them.I wouldn’t expect Tesla to swap out headlights despite what some SAs have claimed. Either reject the car with old lights or prepare to just live with the old lights forever.
So if my M3P isn't built yet, it will most likely have the Matrix HL?Just a heads up. Yes VIN can be used to approximate if your car has matrix headlights or not, but that estimate can be off. The actual way to distinguish if a car has matrix headlights or not is by looking at the build date, and calling and asking your SA about the part number.
The build date for cars with old headlights, if I am not mistaken was 04/23 - 04/27. Anything outside the range has matrix headlights.
From Up thread I thought M3P was left out of this reverting of old lights and even ones in the date range has matrix lights. So if my M3P isn't built yet, it will most likely have the Matrix HL?
Matrix vs non Matrix was a change only for the LR and it didn't affect Performance variants. So if my M3P isn't built yet, it will most likely have the Matrix HL?
There were a some sporadic reports of Performance being affected too but no photo evidence shown. But definitely affected non-Performance models more.Matrix vs non Matrix was a change only for the LR and it didn't affect Performance variants.
Ah. I must have missed where that was confirmed in the thread.Matrix vs non Matrix was a change only for the LR and it didn't affect Performance variants.
It’s not officially a documented/advertised feature. Just like Ryzen, heated wiper park, dual pane front glass, auto dimming mirrors, etcHi. Could you guys please point me to the matrix headlights for T3 listed on Tesla website?
Tires can be swapped out easily. Headlights, not so much as it requires additional software changes. And dont think it is easy to find brand new matrix headlights that fit tesla, unlike the tires.Would you accept an otherwise-good car that came with cheap-ass Pep Boys tires because Tesla couldn't get Michelin or Pirelli?
Inside is eye poppingThere's a YT video showing the headlight might not be interchangeable.
Depends on if it still meets the EPA standard and original ratings (Teslas with different tire packages have different ratings). FYI Tesla have used Hankook tires very early on in the Model 3, and recently they have sometimes substituted Michelin with them:Would you accept an otherwise-good car that came with cheap-ass Pep Boys tires because Tesla couldn't get Michelin or Pirelli?
How does this make sense if Tesla deliberately hide the downgrade during delivery?I wouldn’t expect Tesla to swap out headlights despite what some SAs have claimed. Either reject the car with old lights or prepare to just live with the old lights forever.
Mobile service pushed the appointment back to the end of may and converted it to a service center appointment. Looks like they just want to pass the ball aroundohh please update me regarding or should i also schedule the mobile service.
It was never an advertised or listed feature so they legally never offered anything less than they promised. How does this make sense if Tesla deliberately hide the downgrade during delivery?
