I stopped updating at 2023.6.8, so it looks like I might be in line for 11.4.x
No. It does not seem to be in wide release yet.Okay, so does this mean the wait is over for 2023.2.12?
Remember it was almost 4 months between the leak of release notes for 11.3 and the wide release of 11.3.6 to owners, and a full month between 11.3.2 (first to influencers/YouTubers) and 11.3.6. It may take a while.Agree no sign of 11.4 yet, still holding steady at 2023.6.8.
11.4.1 has already been released beyond influencers and employees. It was just halted.Remember it was almost 4 months between the leak of release notes for 11.3 and the wide release of 11.3.6 to owners, and a full month between 11.3.2 (first to influencers/YouTubers) and 11.3.6. 11.4.1 was released to a similar number of people as 11.3.2, and it was month before wide release of 11.3.6. That was my point.11.4.1 has already been released beyond influencers and employees. It was just halted.
Kinda funny how quickly we all seem to forgot the standard MO process and as soon as a new version starts to show up everyone expects it to go wide that weekend and are confused when it is slow .11.4.1 was released to a similar number of people as 11.3.2, and it was month before wide release of 11.3.6. That's not how 11.3.6 went at all. It was one of the fastest rollouts we've seen.Kinda funny how quickly we all seem to forgot the standard MO process and as soon as a new version starts to show up everyone expects it to go wide that weekend and are confused when it is slow .
Ding Dong. That is exactly how 11.3.x went. It started with 11.3, then 11.3.1, then 11.3.2, then 11.3.3, then 11.3.4, then 11.3.5, then finally 11.3.6. So yea 11.3.x did take a looooooong time for wide rollout. That's not how 11.3.6 went at all. It was one of the fastest rollouts we've seen.
Was completely FSDb fleetwide in 4 days.
I knew that was going to be your counter point - and looking at 11.3.x as a whole, valid argument.Ding Dong. That is exactly how 11.3.x went. Just hope we get 11.4.x before 11.4.6.
This rollout is exactly like 11.3 so far. I received 11.3.4 or 5, then it froze for about 2 weeks, then 11.3.6 hit hard.I knew that was going to be your counter point - and looking at 11.3.x as a whole, valid argument.
It is weird that this one started to go wide and stopped so abruptly. While the iterative process is completly normal there wasn't a lot of iteration before Tesla started pushing this one. Maybe that was the root cause.
The 11.3s we're also anamolous in that they pushed several different versions over successive days and didn't catch folks up before finally leveling with 11.3.6.
You're not wrong. This rollout just seems weird and we've both been on this train for awhile.
I'm glad you think it's normal. This rollout is exactly like 11.3 so far. I received 11.3.4 or 5, then it froze for about 2 weeks, then 11.3.6 hit hard.
This is normal.
