I've been very disappointed in Watch for Tesla. Got it mainly to do things like unlock, open the frunk, etc and it routinely either fails or takes so long that I've given up.

It works well over here - there are occasional blips which even happens with Tesla app. But the unlcok function is pretty quick especially when your phone BT plays up.

It costs a stupid amount too, in my opinion, if it's the same app I'm thinking of.

3 years ago I paid £6.50 (now a days a small coffee & brownie costs that much) like that, I haven’t been asked for any subscription based services. But I understand in the near future they may go towards that direction.

Actually, it use to be worse - until some Norwegian (?) created a video showing how bad it was which shamed EM into coming up with the current incarnation that is ‘Deep Rain’ (also know as ‘another pile of crap’).

So maybe instead of claiming every year that ‘robotaxi is coming soon’, they should have taken a moment to develop BEV in the interim….

I've already had my neighbours tell me my car sounds like a spaceship when I reverse... Imagine when I walk away and now this is the lock sound.

At least the kids will love it

One would assume so, yes. I got it fitted on mine, no regrets (except not being able to disable the spaceship sound at night when parking up )
