They probably don't want to create a fourth suspension variant for the few number of performance 7 seaters they have orders for.

We’ve had reservation on 7-seater with FSD since Sept 2019. If we want to add tow hitch, does that reset us order production line? Also, would any modifications to reservation risk us needing to pay the higher price for FSD?

Definitely yes to price adjustment. Not sure about the place in line.

You'll adjust to the new pricing. Depending on your config and when you ordered it may not change that much. I reserved on 3/15/19 for a LR AWD, White/White, std Wheel, 3 row + FSD, if I did that same configuration today, it would be ~$500 more expensive. This is because the price of the car itself had come down a few times while FSD has gone up. I'd play around w/ the design studio and see how much the difference is. If you'd end up adding more than $1200 between the 2 config, then you should just keep what you have and add the tow hitch after you take delivery for $1200 instead of $1000 in the design studio.

I ordered the 7 seater MY on Jan. 16, 2021 and my estimated delivery date is January 30 - February 27. No VIN in the source code though.

Hmmm that's odd. It seems other people have ETAs, but I ordered early this year so my account has basically been on hold for a while and I've never had an ETA. I just hope it's not still on hold.

Ok -- that's reassuring. I ordered early last year and it seems none of us "early orderers" have ETAs. Glad I'm not alone. Probably doesn't mean anything but I just wanted to make sure my order wasn't in some kind of "hold" status.
