The spec'd accessory weight limit is 160lbs. Apparently the way the hitch is mounted limits it's torque capacity far below the tongue weight limit.

I hear great things about the 1Up, but it's only practical for up to 3 bikes on the Model Y due to its weight.

It's good to see how well the Ford does once they ignore the nav and only use EA chargers. Reenforces my conclusion that the EV to recommend to those who refuse or won't afford to buy Tesla is the Mach-E.

The model y hitch is only rated to 160lbs accessory weight. 4 bikes on a 110 lb rack will far exceed that. Are you comfortable with that? (I have approximately zero overall tow hitch experience, so don't feel comfortable exceeding the rating by much if at all)

We had at least 1" at all the superchargers, so might be fine in the 3 - just can't promise :)

I suspect that on the 3 you might not clear the curb at some superchargers to back in. Not sure how the mounting height will compare.

No radar units available. It was either ship fewer cars to customers, hurting both the company and the customers who want the cars, or push forward at Tesla speed and let the certification and 100% feature parity come later.

It seems like the timing of radar removal was accelerated uncomfortably to avoid shutting down production for lack of parts. That said, it was also clear that they were going to do it eventually. I expect the end result to be a better system than with radar, even if it takes a few weeks or months.

This is the incorrect interpretation. The tongue weight is for force applied by a trailer with its own wheels causing the tongue force to press vertically down on the ball. A bike rack or other accessory will produce a torque, rotating around the hitch attachment point under the vehicle instead...

I'm seeing a bull flag that predicts a break to the upside in the next couple of trading days. Unfortunately, that coincides with a daily TD Sequential 9 sell, so not trading it myself. If I was forced to make a trade, I'd be buying, but that's just the default on TSLA ;)

It wouldn't be just regen braking, but powered deceleration using the electric motors. This will require at least 3 motors and/or adjustable limited slip differential(s) though. Current torque vectoring uses the friction brakes IIUC.

I bet they posted the SR Y to soak up some excess BIW/GA capacity that they didn't have cells for. They have now likely matched cell production to assembly, and can produce the best margin-desirability variant exclusively again. Tesla is a lean logistics optimizing machine now.

You don't have to deplete the asset in an asset depletion loan. They calculate the qualification based on the assumption that you will.
