Nathan Smith this is an incredible story. A collision with a Semi is about as bad as a road collision can get... I am glad your Model S has survived to drive another day, and I hope you haven't been suffering any injury from the accident.

Repairs, training, and special tools for body shops are one aspect of the automotive industry that I am not all that familiar with. I guess it goes to show just how much work it is to set up a brand new automobile company. A team of people had to figure out how to do the repairs, write the manuals, spec and obtain the special tools, set up training classes, and actually teach repair professionals how to work on a Tesla.

Nathan, I find it hilarious (and a bit sad) that your car, which had significant damage, is looking to be finished repairs before mine, which just needed a new radiator and some cosmetic fixes. I crossed the 2-months-without-Tesla mark last Sunday.

Oh, the joys of living in a rural location...
