    For Vanity only:

Total: $10 for "P" and "D", $5 for 3M Heavy Duty Mounting Tape from Amazon.

Another reason to love the Model S 60? Not feasible on 40, 70, 75, and 85 for obvious reasons :p

From what I've read around here, I bet you could have saved $15 if you asked around for Ps & Ds from those debadging their P90Ds. ;-)

Being part of the car scene for over 15 years with multiple magazine featured cars, "up badging" was something we discouraged. We look at it the same as wearing a fake Rolex.

I did see you post it is for vanity reasons only, in that case get the underline!

The badge change by the OP does prevent boy racers from sizing up their cars with your Tesla, challenging you at every red light just cause you have a slower (relatively speaking) Tesla. They already know they don't stand a chance with a P90D.

On that note, hey Tesla, When are you going to add distinguishing trim / characteristics to differentiate the various power plants and performances. Like the Porsche 911 turbo and the regular 911.

Why not? You already bought the P and the D, another person could just as easily buy the 9 and the 0
