Are Canadians still getting Model 3s right now?

I doubt changing would take an extra 3 months. They try and make it sound like changes re set the clock and put you to the back of the queue, but that wasn't my experience. I changed paint colours 3 times (MSM, Blue, White). The last change I made was very last minute, and I got my vin and delivery date 2 days after that change.

That was at end of q3 last year, so the end of quarter push probably did factor in a bit. But that's when they were also renting out the internal centre to handle the volume of cars, I believe they have a more steady stream coming through.

My advise if it means anything is; if you love the white, go with that. It's tough to be patient, I get that, but every time you get in the car you'll be glad you waited for the version you wanted most.

Good luck!

I think I will call and change to black interior it's cheaper and I'm liking it more and more as I see it. Thanks for the info! I was super hesitate to change because it did feel from the people I spoke to at tesla that it would restart at the back of the queue.

My delivery date for my black/black P3D just got pushed back another week and my VIN was just dropped :/

UPDATE - Same VIN according to my delivery specialist, however the car hasn't reached Chicago yet so no way it makes it to Toronto by this week.

Just confirmed my order for a MSM SR+. I couldn't use my Day 1 reservation as it was made for delivery in a different country where I used to reside, so cancelled the day 1 reservation (feel a little sad about it though), and made a new order.

Well, I got a call from Tesla today telling me my request for SR+ financing has been declined by both lenders (RBC and Scotiabank), due to my temporary resident status in Canada (my family is here on a work permit, and we've applied for a PR, but still waiting). I was offered to either have a co-applicant who's a citizen or PR on my loan application, or cancel the order, get the deposit back and make a new order once I obtain a PR status. I am a bit bummed but will cancel this order and wait a few months before placing a new order.

Same here, I was told the finance can match the same length of time I have left on my VISA Credit Card, so 2/3 years, with large deposit, and this would secure finance? How true this is I don't know.

I was told to go through the finance but a refund will be given if refused, taking 10 working days for any refund? Again not sure how true this is :)

UPDATE:
04MAY delivery appointment changed from within 2 weeks to end of May
07MAY VIN finally appears on account (330XXX); car arrived in Vancouver; appointment this Saturday 11MAY

Just have to update my financing rates (still 96 months 4.25% ARP from end of March)

Has anyone in BC taken delivery between May 1 and now of a model 3 eligible for the BC rebate?
I’m wondering because the cevforbc website is updated constantly but the dollar value ‘paid out’ has not changed since May 1. That implies that no EVs have received the rebate (or have been delivered) since May 1. But that doesn’t seem realistic. Maybe cevforbc updates the amounts reserved and available daily but only pays out the money monthly or something like that..

Just got off the phone with customer support (my financing details were not showing up on my account, but they confirmed that everything is okay) and the guy there said they expected the May 1st and after orders in BC to start arriving in June most likely. So take that for what it's worth. He did mention the usual 3rd quarter delivery push.
