Got my VIN - what a feeling.

Got a text a couple days ago saying that I need to schedule my delivery date, so I set it for this coming Wednesday. Today I got an email from my Delivery Specialist saying the car was en route and the scheduled date was only “tentative” until the car actually arrives at the dealership.

Just curious, how close was everyone’s actual delivery date compared to their initial “tentative” delivery date?

Always go with the date your Delivery Specialist says, the online scheduling system is just a placeholder, it's all based on the timeline of each respective delivery centre, not on your timelines.

Yesterday was the big day (as scheduled), I picked up my car in Oakville :)... and it looks spectacular!
SR+ Solid black with white interior, 18" Aeros, no FSD, ordered May 3rd. Seems to be equipped with the new HW3, software version 2019.16.3.2. for those concerned (vin 407XXX). Super happy with the build quality and delivery experience. One small anxiety, the 7500 free supercharger km bonus and the referral used were not applied yet, I was told it could take up to 30 days from delivery to see that. We'll see how this goes, I've seen people complaining about it on the forums and I thought to share my experience.
I traded in my 1 year old Chevy Bolt, no issues there, just dropped the car off, got the old plates, moving on. I had the Bolt advertised for sale for a month, since I've placed the order. I couldn't get anything better that Tesla offered, and the car was in excellent shape.
I came prepared with 3DMAXpider mats as the car doesn't come with any. Honestly I don't see the need of a thin, cheap, useless carpet mat, it's just a waste, the Bolt ones were sitting in my basement from day one I got that car anyway and went back with it in the trunk. The frunk on the other hand, should have something, the bare plastic looks like an unfinished job IMO.
The charging bag has 110V charger and the J1772 adaptor. I need that adaptor, I still have the Chargepoint station from my previous EVs. Autopilot calibration took about 10 km of driving, works great.
Thank God is Sunday! I have plenty of time to pimp my ride a bit and play with my new toy!

Congrats! Seems like oakville has good reviews for delivery experience. Excited for mine! Where did you order your floor mats?

FYI - I was on sw marine dr earlier today and saw an empty lot with over 100 model 3’a near Wendy’s. I saw trucks transporting driving to the lot to drop off more cars too!

I wasn’t quick enough to whip out my phone to snap a photo for you guys :(

Hoping everyone will get their model 3 very soon!!!
