I have been assigned a VIN yesterday at 11pm - 29xxx (delivery location Peabody).
Model y white exterior black interior /w induction wheels.

When should i expect to take delivery ?

It's hard to say, just based on the VIN. These forums have people with VINs way lower than mine (I'm 25x), that haven't had a pick up scheduled - and I'm picking mine up next Wednesday, and ordered on June 26.

I just got a VIN in the same range 29xxx AWD White/Black and induction. West coast, 4 hours from Fremont. Pickup scheduled next week. Ordered July 4.

Based on the spread sheet most east coast deliveries are 1-2 weeks, closer to two weeks.

Reno, NV as well. Went to the SC and asked how to speed up delivery and volunteered to take a few other options if they became available. Next day got VIN for desired model and day after delivery was scheduled. Pretty sweet timing honestly.

Happened to me today. Had one this morning and now it's gone. Oh well~!

VIN 26xxxx was assigned o me on July 13th, I'm scheduled for delivery on July 25th. I'm in southern Illinois and my Delivery Center is over in Chesterfield Mo. I believe the further east you are the longer it'll take.

Good luck and am hoping most of the QC demons have been exercised from the MY.

Horrible feeling, to add to that i got a text message a day after i order saying that they are trying to assign VIN to me ( the sales rep said those are automated and he doesnt know what is going on)

i am not even sure it makes sense to contact tesla’s support.

Got this from the sales rep today

“That is correct! The car is about 90% completed from the factory and we actually have an expected delivery time of about the 2nd week in August. I will be in touch as we get closer to your delivery.”

still puzzled as to why the VIN disappeared.

Odd. I just got used to not checking four times a day for the VIN
