Also, then you have to remember to connect the car back to your home wifi so it can automatically download and install updates overnight.
Just assume premium is a necessary cost of running a Tesla. You’re still well ahead on fuel savings.

You don't get the aerial photography view of the map, the live traffic overlay on the map, or the ability to remotely access live camera view in Sentry mode without the premium connectivity.Isn’t that a more cost effective method (if you have the data?) or do you miss certain features that way?

I heard somewhere that they had to get rid of the vent feature due to safety regulations? Maybe only in the USAnother thing you can do when the temperature is really high is use the 'vent' option to remotely crack the windows a little, which helps quickly force that 50 degree air out. Then close them up when the temperature inside has dropped a bit.
