My car is probably on that ship. I had a delivery date of 26th Aug - 9th Sept. I doubt they’ll make the 9th.

This makes sense, I had the delivery date of 26th Aug - 9th Sept and now changed to Sep 04 - Sep 18.

Damn Port Kembla needs to speed up their car registration process.

So for those Feb/Mar orders (and even late Jan potentially) are we expecting a large fleet of cars being loaded up on 28/9 (Morning Cherry) for delivery Mid October?

How would this work with rental cars?

For me the best benefit from LR over SR+ is the larger battery. I would happily take a single motor LR car as the US market got them in the beginning.

USA Hertz are something to look at for rentals.
Keycard only - No glovebox and some other junk.

Sounds like I'm in the same boat (pun intended). White/Black LR, same order date. EDD range keeps inching forward by a day each day. Are you in Melbourne?

Trap for young players - once your other half has got her/his phone added to the car - they know where you are......and there is no unadding once it is done. Take it from someone who has tried.

I had wondered about that!! Appreciate the post - is your job a lifesaver? Now I know, my phone will be app, partner will be card. Had tried googling about it but very few see it as a problem.

If you've added another Tesla account to your car (i.e. the car belongs to your account) as a driver, you can remove them in the app:

Ordered in Feb, initial estimate was July to Sept, now sitting on Aug to Nov, went to an EV meet on the weekend and drove the ICE vehicle that will be getting retired, it must have sensed it's time is coming so while driving home tonight the engine starts misfiring and I limp home at 40km/h for the last 10km and I'll need to get it towed on Monday to a mechanic! I don't know if I want to sell it anymore, now considering sending her to the scrap heap as double payback and asking if I can push the button to crush it lol

Pulled into NRMA charger at Ewingsdale (Byron Bay NSW) for some fat, fast and free electrons and a Model Y pulled in to wait for a spot and he said he picked up his 3 weeks ago!! So he ordered early June and his DD was Mid August (at the longest). Can understand the switch to a MY even at a cost of $350.
