So the build runs we know of were RWD 3rd of Oct, LR on the 23rd Oct. Still holding out hope that RWD orders haven't all been allocated to the small number of people on the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.
I think he's one of us mate and was just quoting from his contract or app or some doco from Tesla. I read it like he was a Tesla rep initially, too, but I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure this is a lull in the storm (Captain?). As illesornayr said, they're probably doing some domestics because they've got nowhere to put any more exports until a boat's ready. I understand there's still a couple weeks of export builds to go this quarter, which if they're pumping out 1,000 cars a day would be a whole bunch more woosh-wooshes (cos they don't go vroom-vroom) to come. If we're still twiddling our thumbs for VINs in mid-November I'll be concerned and wondering who I wronged in my life.

Congrats, this simultaneously makes me excited because that's exactly what I ordered a month before you and nervous that somehow I'm going to be screwed over and miss out again as they throw their darts at a list of orders to pick who gets a car regardless of order date.
Excited to see your post because mine is the same config and order date.. I can see you are from Vic but Im from Sydney that is the only difference...

RCC Shanghai - eta for Brisbane 18th November. On ship tracking sites also appears to be headed to Port Kembla.
Super confused as to what's happening.
Ordered 23/2 in Melbourne and since having my delivery date on Monday revert back to Aug - Nov the following day nothing has changed.
No one to contact so I guess I'll just wait it out... Frustrating.

I do hope that's true but I don't think your SA would actually know that information even if it were true so they may just be having a guess and trying to look knowledgeable to the customer. Still, let's see what the next 48 hours bringsI'm very similar

My SA said that 2 days ago. Like we all know they are clueless they just stay stuff to make you happy. And every now and then a coincidence happens and they come out when they sayI'm very similar
