OK so this is interesting re: insurance quoted by RAC WA. If I choose a 2023 MY23.5 the insurance cost is $100 higher per year than a 2024 MY23.5 ...

Will insurers really pick you up on which model year you choose here if they are both MY23.5?
 
Anyone thinking of buying this?
I thought about it, put it in the cart, looked at the $ conversion, closed the tab.
Looks awesome, there are a few other chinese clones coming out. I think the only thing that might be useful would be manually triggering the preconditioning if not using a supercharger, but its not worth that much to me...

Will insurers really pick you up on which model year you choose here if they are both MY23.5?
I just went thru this today, my insurer didnt have MY23.5 so they added it. There was only 2023 MY23.5 available to choose from. There was no difference in MY23 to MY23.5 so im suprised they have 2024 MY23.5 (and for cheaper)
Tesla specifically said which values to get entered in both financial and insurance documentation, so id stick with that..
