I’m in the same situation, Tas order with build date 3/4/23. EDD was 17/5-7/6, now 2/6-23/6. SA Bowen said he was “confident of delivery in the middle of that range”. I know a guy in southern Tas who has delivery booked for 2/6 off Turandot with a build date only a week or so later. Lucky in that way that the next boat went straight to Melb rather than dropping the car in Syd like ours. Apparently expect 10ish days to deliver from when car arrives in Tas, the slowest part (allegedly, as per Bowen) is getting rego done - 7 days and can’t be done til the car is on Tas soilIs anybody in a position to summarise the journey of cars with a Build Date of 3rd April?
So many people have provided so much information about so many shiploads of cars that the ODs, EDDs, BDs, VINs, RAVs, Final Invoices and Delivery Schedules have become so fragmented it's very difficult to keep track of where any one group of cars might be in the whole process.
My order date was 1 Jan 2023, original EDD of Feb-May, VIN appeared on 5th May, showed up in RAV 2 days later and Final Invoice issued, showing BD of 3 April, EDD changed to 17 May - 3 June, Registration document received and sent back, EDD changed to 31 May - 21 June.
I'm really hoping the car is not one of that group supposedly languishing in the salty breezes of Port Kembla dock, taking delivery of bird contents, dust, insects and constantly in fear of hail damage, prior to embarking on that bug-splatting, stone-chipping, mud-splashing, chassis-warping hell-ride to Melbourne on a shonky truck, driven by a madman.
In my case, the car then faces being placed aboard another ship, possibly Spirit of Tasmania, for a potentially high impact night plying Bass Strait, On arrival in Devonport it will be lovingly detailed, paint damage hastily hidden, then redo plates attached, ahead of another above-mentioned hell-ride down the Midland Highway to Hobart.
Any light you can shed would be much appreciated.

This is great - thanks for sharingThis is the queue right now for that berth as per the Port Authority site. Mostly it seems reasonable since it's 8 in queue / 10 days to go.

Hmmm my LR still says 26 May to 16 June but I suspect 11 - 30 June more realistic.Same... looks like everything Sydney/ACT bound sitting on grand Eagle has had their EDD dates pushed back to June 11-30.
Do you know where Grand Eagle goes when it leaves PK? I'm in Brisvegas and wondering if it comes here or to Sydney first. This is the queue right now for that berth as per the Port Authority site. Mostly it seems reasonable since it's 8 in queue / 10 days to go.

Same here, SYD. My view is that 16 June is still possible but also maybe Tesla is just going down the list and changing everyone slowlyHmmm my LR still says 26 May to 16 June but I suspect 11 - 30 June more realistic.
What is the build date from your invoice?Anyone in Sydney got any updates on delivery? I ordered 16/12/22 - MY RWD white. Current EDD is May 31-June 21, which has not been pushed back yet.
Possibly on Morning Crystal based on that build date, which is also sitting outside Port Kembla waiting to dock on 07-Jun behind Grand Eagle.14/04/23!
We ordered 4/08/22, build date 5/03/23, and still waiting. Currently EDD June 3 to June 24.Anyone in Sydney got any updates on delivery? I ordered 16/12/22 - MY RWD white. Current EDD is May 31-June 21, which has not been pushed back yet.
Yeah, that is pretty terrible. Did a Tesla rep tell you which ship it is on, or did you have to use other sources? We ordered 4/08/22, build date 5/03/23, and still waiting. Currently EDD June 3 to June 24.
Ours is apparently on the Sunlight Ace, sitting off Port Kembla, due to dock 1st Jun. Our MY-RWD has been floating around chasing tuna for almost 3 months now.
There are two shipping providers used for Aus, Molace and Armacup (apparently). Molace you can find vehicles by VIN numbers hereYeah, that is pretty terrible. Did a Tesla rep tell you which ship it is on, or did you have to use other sources?
My EDD is now (as of Sunday 28th) for MYLR likely on Grand Eagle in SYD: June 12 - June 30Same here, SYD. My view is that 16 June is still possible but also maybe Tesla is just going down the list and changing everyone slowly
If you're in Sydney and your EDD is 12-30 June, I don't like my chances of delivery before the end of financial year in Brisbane. Grand Eagle doesn't dock in Port Kembla until the 6th June (and that's if all goes to plan) and it then has to unload in Sydney before making its way to Brisbane. Hmmm!My EDD is now (as of Sunday 28th) for MYLR likely on Grand Eagle in SYD: June 12 - June 30
Which matches everyone else.
Yes, my MYLR has now been updated to that date. Not happy as I am off to the snow for a week on the 26th. Bet you Tesla wants to deliver in that period. I don’t really want my friends to be the first to drive it…My EDD is now (as of Sunday 28th) for MYLR likely on Grand Eagle in SYD: June 12 - June 30

Thanks, that's my understanding as well. For people whose cars are on Armacup ships, there is always some doubt about where their car is. From other posts here, it seems that Tesla sometimes tells people which ship their car is on. Usually, though, they don't tell the customer anything beyond "we are working to deliver your cars as soon as possible".There are two shipping providers used for Aus, Molace and Armacup (apparently). Yes, It’s good being able to see where your vehicle is, how far away ect. You don’t have to nag the Tesla SA as much. A bit dishearting sometimes as I watched our MY get loaded onto a ship only about 4 days after it’s build date. Then spend several months going cruising around. It’s been to I think 5 different ports so far. Hopefully landing soonThanks, that's my understanding as well.
