My guess as to why the glass being dirty is causing this, Tesla has a much bigger issue in dealing with natural elements were AP will need to contribute functioning.
that fits the intermittent nature of this issue that others and myself are experiencing. These are the worst kind of issues as the service center has a hard time replicating it. Good thing is that they look at logs and bug reports...my sense is that Tesla knows something is screwed up and trying to fix it or waiting till v9 rolls out.Update: after the car sleeping in the garage for a day, EAP is back...
