Delivery Location: Costa Mesa, CA
VIN: 540XX

I believe this is the first non-03/31 AWD non-P confirmed on here, I'll check in other threads as well.

This is significantly sooner than I expected. I'm even a little apprehensive about an "early" AWD VIN.

This is way earlier than 2-4 months, unless i guess you picking it up in mid August, would be 2 months. Likely being in California helps.

AWD LR Midnight Silver Metallic

Original delivery estimate SEP to NOV
Received email today from local DA wanting to confirm info. I thought that would be it for a while but he comes back to me and says "Thank you for your quick response, granted everything is correct and confirmed I can get you scheduled for delivery as early as July 31st.". So they clearly are cranking them out or they have huge inventory stocked up. No VIN yet but I have a call scheduled for Monday so will get more info.

All I can say is, from my perspective and experience with an n of 1, when I drove the RWD M3, while everything was amazing and I loved it, I noticed a bit of "lag" off the line. Maybe I am not describing it to you correctly, but that was my independent observation. I only responded to this thread because when I read it I remembered thinking exactly that when I drove the car: "It's amazing, but seems to lag a bit off the line". I guess I was expecting the golf cart like instant low speed torque jump. Isn't there. My experience.
With a Tesla, to achieve max acceleration you should mash the pedal to floor, literally stomp on it. That is not true with ICE cars. So perhaps you weren’t harsh enough on the Model 3 accelerator pedal...

I've seen a couple east coasters report their AWD VIN have been assigned. I have no idea what their system is, but they do appear to be going along with the reservation order, at least roughly. This was shockingly fast for me, to the point where I'm almost not prepared to even take delivery, but I'll make it happen.

My car and info basically matches yours... but in NJ. Hope that means I’m close.

Damn...mine is exact same config- except I reserved a day earlier than you, and ordered a day earlier too... and no VIN (or any apparent movement at all since I ordered- still shows Sept-Nov 18 estimate)

Nice! Looks like they're getting close to the end of June orders and starting July's soon!

Or they are still getting though 4/1 reservation holders with AWD config and getting close to 4/2. Nobody knows.

Very few of the inline reservations holders with AWD-Blue have got a VIN. There are still May orders that kept black interior and even more that switched to the white interior that have not heard anything. Yes, I'm in that group.

You switched to white interior in Hope's of getting it sooner? If so when did you make that change and when was your initial order date and reservation date?

I ordered the AWD on 5-23 and switched to the white interior on 7-23. When I did that I expected to be moved back a little and I am fine with that even if it takes another 2 or 3 months. I do however expect to be one of the first Blue AWD w/ white interior.

yeah I would have preferred the white interior, I was trying to change it this morning and the edit button was gone. I didn't realize I could get white without performance until a friend of mine was configuring yesterday. when I tried to change this morning my edit button was gone. I called to see if it was too late, and she told me they have a vin, so it has started production. In maryland we have to keep the car below 60k to get a 3k rebate, so if I changed the interior, I was going to have to remove the autopilot and get it after delivery, paying the additional $1000 but getting $3000 back from the state.

Hey guys. So up until this morning I had the old account page for my AWP Non-P Pearl White with payment method pending at finance with 3rd party bank. However, I got lucky recently with Facebook put options and suddenly had the funds to pay cash, and upon changing my payment method to cash, I got the new account page asking me to confirm everything. Does this mean I'm at least one step closer?

As I've learned with Tesla, I probably should get my hopes up.

Not really. Did the payment change a week ago myself. And it forced the change.

Just got off the phone with delivery specialist, and she told me my car is fresh out of the factory. I got scheduled delivery date is Aug 4th. Too bad my car will look like any other Tesla's model 3s because they don't have the dual motor badge installed and will have to schedule a later date for the badge. I asked for the VIN #, and should be getting a email with that info soon.
