I just noticed something odd. My MVPA is now updated, still looking good for getting the car tomorrow morning. I printed out the MVPA and noticed that it had my deposit listed correctly, but it had listed the entire remaining amount in "customer down payment" and showed "Amount due from Buyer" as $0.00. I am picking up a cashiers check from my bank to take with me, but I hope the fact that the MVPA actually shows a due amount of 0 will not hold up the process to get the car. I printed it out to give them a laugh, but I do know I have to pay the money before I get my car. Anyone else see this hickup on your MVPA?

Yes, this is what I see on my MVPA as well. It's listed as 0 because it's applying credits that have not yet been paid, both down payment and financing amount. Not sure if this is by design or a mistake. It's an odd way of looking at it. I would think the "Amount Due" would include all the money they are still owed. But I guess they are looking at it from the standpoint of when the car is delivered, you will have paid everything and will not owe them anything further.

I'm scheduled to pick up tomorrow. MVPA was finalized yesterday. Credit Union funded my account with the money, and I was hoping to pay the full balance online using ACH. It would not allow me to pay more than the down payment. Texted my IDA and she said to just bring a Cashier's Check for the financed amount. This is the last wrinkle of many, and I don't want to make any changes that could undo the MVPA.

Yeah, my MVPA was missing my trade-in info. I escalated and was told the finance team had been made aware. Nothing updated on my end. I figure we can just update when I get there to pick up the car.

I called that delivery # referenced a few pages back (PS: thanks @Sentry )

Figured since I got the text I’d at least reach out.
The individual I got said that she has nothing “at all” showing for my RN# and since that’s the case there was no schedule or options to discuss further.

I tried asking about other configs available based on others experience and she was pleasant but just shut me down.

This pretty much met my expectations, but still mildly irritated I got a response that someone will follow up to firm up delivery and delivery says I’m not even on their map. Then don’t text me you hee-haws!

Far from a horror story as many on this site have experienced. But with the_danimal getting his car now I figured anything was possible ;-)

Called main line again and finally got through. Wanted to tell an actual human (not robot texter) that I was happy to take delivery this quarter but this was the last day I could do it. Well I have a VIN 97XXX! Wohoo! But it's still in Fremont, scheduled to be in Portland by 10/1. Delivery scheduled for 10/1 at 11:30am. I'll take it.
I would take your car tomorrow. I am MSN but would take Blue.
But I am in the same boat as you, I cannot take a car after tomorrow.
Macadam says mine is also in transit but did not give me a date.

So uh I just got this text:

Hi Frank, My name is XXXX and I work with Tesla’s Delivery Scheduling Team. I am reaching out today to schedule your delivery! We are available to schedule your delivery as soon as 9/29/2018 The VIN will be made available to you approximately 24-48 hours prior to pick-up. Please let me know your availability at your earliest convenience. You can reach me at (888) 771-2505 xXXXX. I look forward to hearing from you!

Called back and I am scheduled for 1pm on Saturday. Yowzers. Let's hope it actually happens, and that the car is in good shape.
well, in an absolutely SHOCKING turn of events I was just told the delivery appointment is canceled.
I actually called this morning to find out what kind of payment form they require, and was told, oh, it looks like you don't actually have a VIN. Wow I guess we probably won't have a car for you tomorrow.

When I called the central delivery people they said it'll prob be next week (I'll believe that when I'm physically in a Model 3 driving back to my house) but I had already rearranged a ton of stuff for tomorrow to be able to get to Mt. Kisco. Super annoying. Not the end of the world but still.

This really is a terrible system they have devised.

It'll be interesting to see if there's another round of 6PM Los Angeles Tesla Direct texts today to setup Sat/Sun deliveries like there was last weekend. Given the news that they achieved sustained production rates of 1,100 per day for the last week or so, it makes sense that they have a ton of inventory they'd love to dump in SF/LA the next two days.

Well, I am still scheduled for pick up after your earlier scheduled appointment. Mine is @2 PM Mt. Kisco....I will not call them and see when they notify me about canceling the appointment. I hope they have the slightest courtesy of notifying customers before they make 6-hour trip to delivery center and told there is no car for them. It will be interesting to watch....

I only live 30 min from mt Kisco so even if I had gone it and it was canceled it wouldn't have been that bad. best of luck to you - hope the car is actually there for you and it's in good shape.

Good luck to all this weekend.

Picked up my MSM, AWD yesterday at Costa Mesa. Great experience. In and out in 45 minutes. My delivery 'specialist' was a manager from the gigafactory who was asked to come down for the week to help delivery cars. My car, as far as I could tell, was perfect! I checked for paint, scratches, panel gaps lol, etc and could find no flaws. He said Costa Mesa is delivering more than 100 cars per day this week and they all appear perfect. What a great car!

So try not to let the forum induced anxiety (FIA) get to you. Here's wishing all of you a great delivery!

I've had my M3 Long Range AWD on order since 8/1 for Mt. Kisco delivery. Amazingly they had a car for me originally within a month, but I was away in CA and couldn't return, so let them return to inventory. Then was in touch with my IDA for awhile, but he stopped responding at the beginning of this week. Then got the robo text on Tuesday night, and one response, then nothing until yesterday when got a call from Delivery Central in Las Vegas that my car would be available on Saturday, made a 10:30 am appointment. But no VIN, reached them this morning in Vegas, they don't have VIN, and no VIN on my order page. Have been calling Mt. Kisco, but no one picks up, left msg for Delivery Mgr a couple of hours ago, but no response yet. And general delivery extension doesn't answer, mailbox full so can't leave a message. I'm only 35 minutes away so thinking about driving up this afternoon, but also thinking since there's no VIN info it's probably a waste of time. Expecting this delivery will likely be canceled and that they don't even have the car yet. Anybody been there for inquiry in last few days, even to inquire? Imagine it's pure chaos! Thanks...

And now it's officially not happening. Received an email I've been delayed after calling my delivery center this morning. Back to an Oct-Dec estimate.

My account still says "We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment." I assume that's because the terms of my Tesla finance loan are still valid (until 30 days are up)??

8/1 - ordered
9/6 - emailed to choose delivery date
9/7 - delivery date confirmed
9/11 - Tesla finance credit application submitted
9/19 - VIN appeared in my account
9/20 - VIN removed from my account
9/25 - delivery appointment for 9/26 cancelled

Just got a phone call from a Customer Support Specialist in Fremont. Rescheduled me for this Sunday at 8:30am. VIN that was assigned appears to be the same one I originally had over a week ago. With the 8:30am time, they're clearly working extended hours this weekend to get as many deliveries in as possible before EOQ.

I doubt it. My appointment is for 3:30pm today and no one has notified me of any change or cancellation.

The interior everything was great expect the wood grain dash - it looked as if there were little cuts going along the wood grain. Not really sure if this is normal, perhaps someone can comment. Also, it's clear someone with dirty hands touched the b pillar, some black marks on it but it rubbed off easily.

Those 'cut marks' on the wood trim are normal from my experience, it's the kind of finishing/laminate they use.

Slightly more than 24 hours out from delivery and my VIN and MVPA have disappeared. No word from my DA or ISA.
When my VIN disappeared my car had been taken by another DES. My guy then stole it back. Contact them directly if you can, or avoid the craziness of this weekend and just get your car in a week or so. Personally, I was ok either way until I had a loan against the VIN, then I became possessive :)
