I just noticed something odd. My MVPA is now updated, still looking good for getting the car tomorrow morning. I printed out the MVPA and noticed that it had my deposit listed correctly, but it had listed the entire remaining amount in "customer down payment" and showed "Amount due from Buyer" as $0.00. I am picking up a cashiers check from my bank to take with me, but I hope the fact that the MVPA actually shows a due amount of 0 will not hold up the process to get the car. I printed it out to give them a laugh, but I do know I have to pay the money before I get my car. Anyone else see this hickup on your MVPA?
Yes, this is what I see on my MVPA as well. It's listed as 0 because it's applying credits that have not yet been paid, both down payment and financing amount. Not sure if this is by design or a mistake. It's an odd way of looking at it. I would think the "Amount Due" would include all the money they are still owed. But I guess they are looking at it from the standpoint of when the car is delivered, you will have paid everything and will not owe them anything further.
I'm scheduled to pick up tomorrow. MVPA was finalized yesterday. Credit Union funded my account with the money, and I was hoping to pay the full balance online using ACH. It would not allow me to pay more than the down payment. Texted my IDA and she said to just bring a Cashier's Check for the financed amount. This is the last wrinkle of many, and I don't want to make any changes that could undo the MVPA.
