In another battle for the ages, Tesla is putting its Model S P90-D up against a replica of the DeLorean from Back to the Future.

The race video will be released next Wednesday, the 21st, in a virtual reality experience that allows viewers to get a “first-person look from the cockpit at a race between the DeLorean and a Tesla Model S P90-D,” according to FC.
Which car wins?
“The Tesla can beat the DeLorean by speed, but of course, the DeLorean can time travel,” Positron’s founder/CEO Jeffrey Travis told FC.

Actually he said it would be rolled out over the next several months. The early versions will only be able to go forward in time but future options will be available as a firmware update.
