Bad flat last night, this was their repair

Does this look normal? I took rim and tire to them as was not driveable.

How can you tell it's a plug and not a plug/patch?

OP: Did they remove the tire from the rim and patch/plug it from the inside? That's the best way.
I took of rim and took to Americas tire, I didnt watch them while i waited but took them a 45 min or so to get back...normally i have always seen them take off, plus the rim and tires was wet etc after.

Using a plug is not the proper way. Tesla service only uses a patch from inside.
Looks like they used a mushroom patch with a stem I’ve seen these been used by 3rd party installers made in china crap they cause problems down the road
