Didn't Bob Lutz complement Tesla on the uniformity and tightness of their body gaps? Wonder who is right?

Mine has to go back for adjustment :-( I’m really not sure why this wasn’t adjusted prior to picking it up.
Front of the rear door is clearly too high. Hopefully you can see it in this pic.
Fit and finish is the number one thing stopping me from getting a Model 3. I test drove one months ago and just cant get over all these stories and pictures of crappy fit and finish.
It won’t seat properly, at least from what I can tell messing with it.Just pushing the clip in was too much for them eh?

You can roll your eyes but its true. I have a nice car now (2016 Chevy SS Sedan Manual) and worry about giving up a car that's been hassle free and built like a tank for something that may start rattling 10 minutes off the lot.

I had to take it to a service center. They said they couldn’t adjust the doors off-site. By taking it in, it was fixed by a body shop guy who does this stuff all the time.G0dfather, did they repair it on-site at your location or did you have to take it to a service center?
Excellent, glad to hear this. Did you have to make an appointment for this?Service fixed all the trim/door alignments in about 45 minutes. Now it’s how it should’ve been 2 days ago! Very happy now.
